The Developments of Storage Media
The computing technology is always developing. It has so many excellent developments for many computer users that surely would give so many benefits for anyone who need to deal with the computers. In the old days, we would have big problems when we need to save some big files. Today, we could use the simple disc to save a giant file. The blue-ray dvds really give us some excellent favors of dealing with giant files.
Imagine, in the old days, the maximum capacity that you may store in a disk was only 1.44 mega bytes. It was developed after the era of the CD ROM up to 600 mega bytes. Then, the next development was the flash drive earlier era that could store some files up to 1-2 giga bytes (today there are plenty bigger capacity flash drives in stores). The DVD era started the era of massive files storage up to 8.5 giga bytes. Now, here comes the blue-ray dvds era.
With the blue-ray dvds, we could store some files up to 500 giga bytes for multiple layering. Isn’t that awesome? For some people who need some high storage capacities, this would be a perfect help for them. They would be able to store any kids of files in a single disc. This is absolutely the perfect combination between massive storages, technology, and off course, simplicity.
